PAPER
Paper making is a whole world unto itself, and has a huge potential for experimentation. Over time, we have developed our own style of paper making which enables people to make paper at their kitchen table with minimal equipment.
Often using paper in our own work, we understand it’s potential as an art material and enjoy seeing how far we can push it as a body to hold matter.
We make paper pulp from recycled papers and cardboard, which we dye with plant dyes. We also make paper from foraged fibres, using mixes of fibres to create the strength we need.

Have a look at our workshop program to find any upcoming paper making workshops. If not, let us know you would like to attend one and we can let you know when the next is planned.
We use our hand made papers in several of our other workshops to make beautiful and unique notebooks.
We also use the technique to memorialise an important event where flowers have played a part, and to enclose poetry or meaningful words.
Paper making often links well with our other workshops, Trysting Trees, string making, inks and as a surface for our paints.
